AldringtonYear 5 Greek Day and Banquet
Year 5 were visited by the 'Actors of Dionysus', a local theatre group who specialise in Greek theatre. The children learnt some new acting and dancing skills in the morning before performing a Greek chorus in the afternoon. Finally, they were treated to a performance of 'Atalanta the Adventurer' which was performed as part of the Brighton Fringe festival this year.
On Thursday 22nd June, we warmed up with an ancient Greek Olympics before we made, cooked and, of course, feasted on our Greek banquet. The children made our two enrichment days a great success and they looked wonderful in their Greek outfits.
