Year 5 Arundel Wetlands Trust Trip

Year 5 were fortunate enough to spend a sunny day at Arundel Wetland Trust. The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the wildlife and hearing the ongoing cacophony throughout the day. Our day was split into two sections. The first activity, Pond Detectives, went down a treat and everyone managed to catch and identify a range of water dwelling creatures (including a rather large dragonfly nymph). The second activity, Minibeast Safari, tested the capturing abilities of our students. They passed the test with flying colours and (with the help from our safari leader) were able to identify the insects. We thoroughly recommend Arundel Wetland Trust!
