Year 4 go to Blackland Farm

This morning saw the start of a new adventure as Year 4 set off for an overnight stay at Blackland Farm. Excitement was high as they gathered up their sleeping bags, pillows and other belongings ready to board the coach.

The journey was straightforward and, before long, the children were sitting down for a picnic, just as the sun came out! Next on the agenda was an opportunity to check out the lodges and explore the site together before an orienteering activity later in the afternoon, followed by a barbeque and an evening of games and sharing of stories and riddles Anglo-Saxon style.

Two of our governors, Mrs Kendrick and Mr Edwards, joined the group during the afternoon to share in the fun and take some photographs to show us on their return to school! We will keep you updated as other pictures come in.
