Year 4 Weald and Downland Living Museum Trip

Year 4 had a brilliant time at Weald and Downlands Museum! We spent our day exploring houses from throughout history and tried to imagine what life would have been like for the people living in them. We particularly enjoyed immersing ourselves in Saxon culture, splitting wood to build Saxon houses and taking part in braiding competitions. A real highlight was the chance to make a Saxon herb ointment. It may not have cured our ailments but it sure gave us smooth, supple skin. A fantastic day had by all!
