Year 4 Chocolate Day 2021

On CHOCOLATE DAY, Year 4 learned about the history and origin of chocolate among the Mayan people. We learned about how cocoa farmers are guaranteed a fair wage and we designed our own chocolate bars.

But the best part of the day was our survey of different chocolate types, flavours, textures and smells. Unfortunately this involved sampling an inordinately large number of chocolate types.

Thank-you to all the parents who found such amazing chocolate types (the chilli chocolate flavour will stay with us for a long time!)
