Year 1 Waitrose Shopping Trip

The trip was absolutely fabulous - Waitrose went above and beyond, taking the children behind the scenes. They saw the recycling plant with Rita and Ron, who were cardboard cut-outs. They saw where all the deliveries come in and they even allowed them to go inside the chillers! They had a talk from the Fish Partner as well as the Fruit and Vegetable Partner. The children learned so much; it really was a rather special morning for Hedgehogs and Squirrels classes.
