We celebrated Shrove Tuesday at Bishop Hannington with a pancake race! Children showed off their running, tossing and competitive skills in our inaugural pancake race during our morning worship service. We thought about what it means to 'give something up' for Lent and listened to the Bible story of the widow who gave all she had, even though it amounted to just two copper coins. We thought about how giving often involves sacrifice, and about how we could give to help our friends, family and to live closer to God this Lent.

We were also excited to award the MacMillan Cup, Kendrick Sports award, music award and the Governors' award for values.

Aldrington services take place every month and we look forward to seeing you at Easter!
