Looking forward to Harvest

Pandas and Penguins had a special visit from Revd Tim Gage from St Peter's Church, West Blatchington. Tim told the children about why Christians celebrate at Harvest time and the importance of thanking God for the many good gifts He gives us. The children learnt a Harvest song and found out that they can help others this Harvest by bringing a gift of food for the Food Bank at West Blatchington. These gifts will then be shared with others in our local community.

In class, the children have shared the story 'A Wet and Windy Harvest for Puddles', finding out how Puddles the cat joined in with the Harvest Festival at his church!  They are preparing for our own celebration of Harvest with the Reception classes on Monday 19 October.
