Greek Day

Year 5 enjoyed many activities on Greek Day. We had a mini Olympics with challenges including, the discus, standing long jump, javelin and running. In different groups we made meatballs, tzatziki and Greek salad, which we later enjoyed in the afternoon during a Greek Banquet. We made top trumps for many Greek Gods and Godesses, tried out some tricky tongue twisters and played an Ancient Greece themed 'would you rather?' The children all looked fantastic in their costumes and took part really well.
