This week, Years 5 and 6 took part in their annual ‘Entrepreneur Week’ - an exciting event filled with entrepreneurship, business ideas and creativity. They were set the challenge of designing, marketing and presenting a business idea that was both realistic and achievable. Throughout the week, we were truly impressed by the children’s innovation, teamwork, dedication and confidence.

The event was judged by our very own team of business experts, “The Dragons”: Mrs Lozynski and Professor Holdway, and we are incredibly grateful for their time and support in helping to make the experience both fun and meaningful.

Our winning entrepreneurs were ‘Plant Life’, a fantastic team made up of Ivy, Amber, Ronnie and Ralph. They impressed the judges with their ingenious idea for an app that helps to care for and water plants automatically while the owner is on holiday. The team proudly received the Entrepreneur Trophy from last year’s winners, Jenna and Aqlima.

Not only did the children create some brilliant ideas, but they also embedded their Maths, English and Computing Skills into a real-world scenario. A huge well done to all of our Years 5 and 6 entrepreneurs.
