Christmas Pudding Stir-Up Friday

It was so lovely welcoming all the parent and carer helpers into school this morning for our annual Christmas Pudding stir-up!  The children enjoyed mixing up the ingredients with the helpers, before their traditional assembly in the school hall. The assembly involved the school councellors carrying in the stirred-up ingredients and placing it at the front of the hall. Curate Jan, from St Peter's West Blatchington, led the assembly and talked to the children about the different ingredients and how they link to the fruit of the holy Spirit.

There was singing, laughter and excitement as we all came together to celebrate this special season.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
