Carroty Wood Thursday morning update
Wednesday was a "brilliant day"! The children had lots of fun outside - muddy low ropes for the other half of the group and learning about fair trade in a trading game. You will see from the photos below that there were also high ropes, pedal karting and abseiling. Once again the staff have particularly commented on how encouraging the children have been to one another and how they have overcome their nerves to do things they never thought themselves capable of!.
They group enjoyed roast chicken for dinner (so Wednesday is 'roast' day as it is at school!). During free time there were silly games, as well as less silly ones like Risk and Cranium and the day ended with a swimming session before quiet time to prepare for bed.
All was quiet at 7.00am this morning after a good night's sleep with very few interruptions.
Now for the great tidy up and visit to the tuck shop!
