Carroty Wood 2026 Day 1

The children arrived at school well organised with their bags and set off at 9:30 in two coaches, ready for the adventure ahead. It was lovely to see them in their new brand-new personalised hoodies.

The journey was very good, arriving ahead of time for their packed lunch. There was plenty of excitement and celebration when they found out their room choices, though they have not yet all got the hang of putting a duvet on!

Children have already built rafts, abseiled, overcome fear with the leap of faith and are starting to explore the muddy areas (hosing down with showers still to come). Room inspections to come later tonight, along with swimming or a night walk.
