Aldrington Entrepreneur 2025
From the 19th of May to the 23rd of May, Year 5 and 6 created different products in groups of four. Each child was from a different class so everyone had to work as a team. Children had been assigned different jobs. Each group had a child who was either…
- Project Manager (This was a Year 6)
- Finance Manager
- Product Designer
- Marketing Manager
Every team worked independently, with sufficient supervision. This meant they learnt to work without adults helping them at all. There were some instances where adults had to be called in, however, to help with technical issues. It was usually very calm, but, towards the end, the heat was on with the rush to finish before the deadline.
Here is a list of a few of the creations:
Better Butter, The Eco Activities, Summertime Finery and Costume House. The six final groups were, Locks for Life, Never too Small, The Eco Activities, Bamboo and Print, Tech-Style and Holobuddy. The winner was…..
The Eco Activities!!! 🌿
All of the teams were A-MA-ZING. The children from Y5 and Y6 got given a judging sheet along with the four adult judges (two Y6 parents and two governors). Students handed out flyers, wore badges and lanyards and each of the thirty-two groups wore some smart clothes.
The adult in each classroom saw all the presentations in their class then they decided which six groups would go through to the finals.
Everyone worked heroically hard!
Thank you to Robyn, Sienna E and Jenna for writing!
