Aldrington Chicks

We have been fortunate enough to have some hen eggs in an incubator in the Year 1 classrooms. 4 of those have now hatched and are doing really well, with the care of the year 1 staff and children, a few year 6 girls and Tess, our amazing animal whisperer !! The children have been so fascinated to see them grow and it's so exciting and heart-warming to hear cheeping and chirping the closer you get to the year 1 classrooms. You'll be pleased to know that they will be going to a local farm after here where they will enjoy the outdoors and life as intended for them.
