Aldrington Allotment News
We are so fortunate to have our very own allotment just opposite the school. We have some amazing volunteers, Jan and Anton who work so hard to keep the allotment neat and tidy and they also help out when the children come along for their sessions. They have so much green finger knowledge to pass onto the children which is valuable and appreciated. Here are some of the vegetables that have been grown recently. Courgette, carrots, tomatoes and tromboncinos. Some of the Year 1 children pulled up the carrots and potatoes today while visiting the allotment. They had a sunny, warm morning for digging.
