Aldrington Food Growing Garden

We're working with Our City, Our World to develop a food growing space on-site that the whole school can access, incorporating and enriching elements of the curriculum. The long term goal is to teach children about the seasonality of food, about nutrition and actually eating the food they grow.

Growing food in schools has huge benefits for children; enabling them to understand where their food comes from, encouraging healthy eating habits, increasing environmental awareness alongside aiding mental and physical health and most importantly, they love it!
