Ethos

At Aldrington, children live, grow and learn together so they understand their place in the world and the contribution they can make.  This is within a framework of strong values where children learn to love and respect one another as this is modelled to them and to be people of integrity.  They learn to take responsibility for themselves, for others and the world around them and to be part of a community that gives as well as receives, forgives and shows compassion, not just within our school but beyond. Within this nurturing environment, children learn to persevere and rise to challenges so that they are able to achieve well and take pride in that achievement. 

These values are firmly rooted in our Christian ethos in which we seek to nurture our children.  We aim to be 'deliberately different', acknowledging how God helps those with faith in Him on the journey of life.
